River Valley Resilence

Support our first responders

· RIVER VALLEY RESILIENCE RETREAT (RVRR) is a registered non-profit organization located near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan that provides a retreat environment, peer support and assistance to Public Safety Personnel (PSP), Armed Forces and Veterans with operational stress injuries.

· · Our mission is to offer a peer based approach to empowerment and post traumatic growth in assisting individuals and families by facilitating prevention, stabilization and resiliency skills while in the healing elements of nature and amongst peers.

· · Our vision is to minimize the damaging effects of operational stress injuries while assisting the individual to learn resiliency skills through the use of horses, nature and a peer supportive environment.

· · We recognize that public safety personnel, veterans, and their families often face unique challenges that can lead to stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues. We provide a comprehensive approach to wellness that includes physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

· · Our programs are designed to be inclusive, culturally sensitive, and responsive to the needs of all nations. Participants are able to connect with others who have shared experiences, in a supportive environment.

· · As a registered non-profit organization- RVRR relies on donations and ongoing funding from a variety of organizations and businesses to provide services to Public Safety Personnel (PSP), Armed Forces, Veterans and their families.
